Report on Job Cuts in the IT Sector: Introduction: For many years, the IT sector has been one of the fastest-growing global industries, offering well-paying jobs and boosting the global economy. Nonetheless, in order for businesses to remain competitive, cost-cutting, organizational changes, and job outsourcing have become commonplace in the sector. In order to better grasp the situation, we will examine the effects of layoffs in the IT sector in this research by examining statistics and trends. Data Analysis: With a total of 106,160 job losses in 2020, the IT sector reportedly had the second-highest number of layoffs in the country. In comparison to 2019, when 67,638 people were laid off, this is a 58% increase.
